About the Role
Join Brothers of Mercy, WNY’s largest 5-star Skilled Nursing Facility and one of the state’s top-performing nursing homes. We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help keep our facility safe, clean, and welcoming for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Performs the day-to-day duties within the Housekeeping Department using proper sanitary practices.
- Performs day to day housekeeping functions as assigned.
- Essential duties such as dusting, sanitize, sweeping and mopping, vacuuming and all other general cleaning throughout the residents apartments and building.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude.
- Compassionate and respectful approach when working in a healthcare setting.
