About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; assist with directing visitors and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
