About the Role

As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
