About the Role
Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a strategic and results-driven Channel Partner Manager to lead and optimize our distribution network in Japan. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring channel partners align with Allegro’s technical roadmap and commercial objectives within the Japanese semiconductor ecosystem, particularly in Automotive and Industrial segments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel business plan for Japan to achieve annual sales targets and design-in goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive and field leadership at key distribution partners.
- Drive identification and winning of new design-in opportunities for Allegro’s TMR sensors, power management ICs, and motor driver solutions through distributors.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to monitor partner performance, pipeline health, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with local teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and optimal stock positioning for the Japanese market.
- Manage special price requests (SPRs) and ensure compliance with Allegro’s global pricing strategies and channel policies.
- Coordinate with Field Applications Engineering (FAE) teams to provide regular product and technology training to distributor sales and FAE teams.
- Drive the adoption of Allegro’s sales enablement platforms among channel partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor sales or channel management with a proven track record in the Japanese market.
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English.
- Deep familiarity with the Japanese automotive "Keiretsu" structures and industrial automation landscape.
- Ability to communicate the value proposition of complex analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions (Sensing and Power).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate Japanese business etiquette while driving a fast-paced, innovative culture.
