About the Role

This application pool is for student and new graduate positions within various teams seeking interns and new graduates. The program is ideal for students and early-career professionals who are recent graduates and completed their coursework in the last year. Internships within our program may be part of an accredited university cooperative (CO-OP) program. We are actively recruiting early-career professionals for the Winter 2027 term in various teams seeking students or new graduates. Team mandates vary, so if you are invited for an interview, you will receive a detailed description.

Requirements

Must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid work visa at the time of application.
Must meet government security screening requirements at the required level.
Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or have completed their studies within the last year.
Must be available for a period of 8 months or more – although internships are 4 months in duration, preference will be given to candidates available until 2027.
Previous work experience related to the field of study.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Motivation, initiative, organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently within a team.
Enthusiasm in performing tasks both simple and complex.
Knowledge of both official languages is an asset, but may be required for certain positions.
Must clearly demonstrate that you meet all requirements.
Candidates qualified may be considered for similar positions at this level within EDC.
