About the Role
This Candidate Pool is specifically for roles on various teams looking for students and new grads with Commerce skills and career interests. We are actively recruiting early career professionals for the 2027 Winter semester in various teams looking for Finance students or new grads. Team assignments will vary, and detailed descriptions will be provided if selected for an interview. The opportunity to build cross-functional professional networks, identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation, and continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring from professionals throughout EDC.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Studying or recently graduated from a program with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management (finance focus), or related.
- Interested in a variety of roles within teams including Risk Management, Credit Operation, Financial Operations, Insurance, Economics, and Accounting.
- Looking to gain experience in a Crown Corporation and develop foundational skills for your career in business.
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program (eligible for up to one year after completion of studies).
- Available for 8 months or more - preference will be given to candidates with availability that extends.
- Previous work term experience related to their field of study
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter, good organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Enthusiasm to tackle any task, whether menial or complex
- Able to work legally in Canada at the time of application (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residents or Work Permit).
- Meet the requisite government security screening requirements.
