About the Role
We are actively recruiting early career professionals for the 2027 Winter Semester in a variety of teams looking for students in Commerce, Technology and Analytics, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Project Management, Human Resources and related fields. This Candidate Pool is exclusively for students currently enrolled in post-secondary studies and who are only available for a 4-month term from January to April 2027.
Responsibilities
- Build cross-functional professional networks.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Continuously learn and grow through coaching and mentoring from professionals throughout EDC.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies.
- Previous work term experience related to their field of study.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter, good organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Enthusiasm to tackle any task, whether menial or complex.
- Must be able to work legally in Canada at the time of application (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residents or Work Permit).
- Must meet the requisite government security screening requirements.
- Must meet all essential requirements stated above and applications received by the closing date.

- $42,900 to $48,750 annually, based on year of study
- 1st Year: $42,900 ($22.00/hour)
- 2nd Year: $44,850 ($23.00/hour)
- 3rd Year: $46,800 ($24.00/hour)
- 4th Year and Beyond: $48,750 ($25.00/hour)
