About the Role
Join Deepsea Atlantic as our new offshore Safety Officer, ensuring safe operations on a state-of-the-art semisubmersible rig fleet operating in the harshest environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily QHSE activities
- Support preparation and revisions of procedures, documents, and instructions
- Lead local incident investigations
- Verify compliance with safety rules, procedures, instructions, and safety tools
- Systematically follow up non-conformances, incident reports, and deficiencies related to QHSE
- Maintain the offshore Competence Management System
- Provide training in the use of PPE
- Facilitate risk assessments and MOC processes offshore
Requirements
- Documented solid experience within QHSE work on MODUs
- Fluent written/oral in Norwegian and English language
- Proficient in the use of IT systems
- Good knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards on NCS and UK
- Basic Offshore Safety course and Offshore health certificate
