About the Role
As Liquidity Risk Manager within the Market Risk team, you will play a critical role in helping the bank maintain a strong and sustainable liquidity and funding position, working at the intersection of risk, treasury and strategy. This is a unique opportunity to influence key risk decisions, provide independent oversight and challenge on liquidity and funding risk matters, partner with senior stakeholders across the business and help shape the future of risk management within one of Australia's leading digital banks.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and ongoing enhancement of liquidity and funding risk frameworks, policies and risk appetite.
- Design, execute and analyse liquidity stress testing to assess risk exposures under a range of market scenarios.
- Deliver timely and insightful liquidity and funding risk reporting to senior management, committees and regulators.
- Provide independent review and challenge of liquidity risk management practices and assumptions.
- Partner with Treasury, Risk and business stakeholders to support sound risk-based decision making.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge of liquidity and funding risk management, stress testing and prudential requirements.
- 5+ years' experience in liquidity risk, treasury risk or a related risk discipline within banking.
- Understanding of APRA standards and broader regulatory developments impacting liquidity risk.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical outcomes.
