About the Role

The Training Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting the After-sales Training Section by assisting trainers in organizing and delivering training sessions. This role involves managing operational and administrative tasks related to training, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless post-training experience.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other educational activities.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and multimedia aids.
  • Ensure training programs meet organizational goals.
  • Manage trainee registrations and maintain training records.
  • Coordinate with trainers and subject matter experts to develop curriculum.
  • Handle logistics such as booking venues and arranging necessary equipment.
  • Prepare training requirements including cars, tools, equipment, parts, classroom equipment, and booklets.
  • Manage the BYD LMS2 training platform.
  • Manage retailer training fees, collections, and collaborate with the finance department.
  • Manage the OA system to ensure training material invoices are authorized and paid promptly.
  • Assess training program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Implement improvements based on evaluations to enhance training quality.
  • Track employee skill development and retention rates.
  • Maintain an updated register for every retailer on mandatory positions.
  • Evaluate course feedback to improve training modules.
  • Conduct regular gap analysis reports highlighting areas of concern and improvement for the leadership team.
  • Liaise with training partners to ensure open communication channels and achieved objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of new training initiatives.
  • Act as a resource for trainers and trainees, providing guidance and support.
  • Provide operational support to trainers during live stream training sessions, including setup and equipment management.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, a technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, or a related area), or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • AI capability.
  • Capability to analyze data and create reports on training effectiveness.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Right-to-work in the U.K.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Chinese (advantageous).
  • Automotive technical knowledge (advantageous).
  • Electrical or mechanical skills as a technician (advantageous).
