About the Role
The FastLane Program Analyst Intern will support the research and implementation of Vector’s FastLane and programming targeting startups, scaleups, and VC & other ecosystem partners. This paid internship offers hands-on learning in machine learning and AI, with opportunities to attend talks and connect with AI ecosystem stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary business research.
- Support the implementation of Vector FastLane programming.
- Identify and coordinate relevant resource needs across work streams.
- Support product development within the FastLane team, including research, ideation, and wireframes.
- Assist with FastLane activities such as company onboarding, introduction calls, and email support.
- Create reports, decks, and Excel models for the FastLane team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Self-identified Black or Indigenous student or postdoctoral fellow, or recent graduate.
- Currently in second year or higher, studying at a Canadian university or college, or a recent graduate within one semester of graduation.
- Experience conducting business research.
- Ability to format and create visually compelling and professional strategy and planning documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel) and/or Google Suite.
- Experience running and organizing events.
- Possess a positive attitude, integrity, a sense of humour, and bring a positive energy and outlook to a not-for-profit corporate culture.
