About the Role
Develop innovative mounting systems from initial concept to series production, contributing to the future of solar energy.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the development of innovative aluminum and steel mounting systems.
- Oversee the entire product development process from idea generation through design, prototyping, and series launch.
- Perform preliminary static dimensioning to ensure economical and safe product development.
- Develop new components with a focus on stability, functionality, and efficiency.
- Optimize material usage in lightweight aluminum construction for sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
- Create static proofs and associated approval documents.
- Collaborate with the digitalization team to integrate new products into the K2 Base online planning tool.
- Work closely with testing institutes and manage approval procedures to successful completion.
- Continuously improve existing products and systems.
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master, or Dipl.-Ing.) in Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of relevant norms and regulations in structural engineering, preferably with a focus on lightweight aluminum construction.
- Basic knowledge of FEM and frame analysis software (e.g., Dlubal RFEM and RSTAB) and CAD applications.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
- Work independently, structured, and solution-oriented with a high degree of reliability.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to independently understand complex technical contexts.
