About the Role
Join our Imaging team at the London Bridge Hospital campus, a CQC-rated "Outstanding" facility. This rotational role offers the chance to work across multiple sites and with nine Siemens MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T), covering a wide range of examinations including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, and Cardiac imaging. You will provide exceptional patient-centred care and high-quality diagnostic imaging, utilizing advanced clinical expertise to support complex examinations and optimize imaging quality. This role is ideal for an experienced MRI Radiographer seeking to advance their specialist expertise within a world-class imaging service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient-centred care and high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Utilize advanced clinical expertise to support complex examinations.
- Optimize imaging quality and contribute to the development of imaging protocols and patient pathways.
- Support service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and mentorship to colleagues.
- Ensure high standards of safety, governance, and patient experience.
- Perform a broad range of specialist MRI examinations.
- Undertake IV cannulation.
- Manage and prioritize workloads.
- Support the implementation of new techniques and technological advancements.
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification
- Extensive post-registration MRI experience within either an NHS or private healthcare setting
- Competency in IV cannulation
- Strong understanding of MRI safety, governance and quality standards
