About the Role
Canduct Industries is seeking a Production Worker for their facility in London, Ontario. Join a company with a friendly atmosphere and a passionate team.
Responsibilities
- Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery.
- Ensure parts are built to blueprint specifications.
- Conduct quality checks using tape measures and calipers.
- Assist in making parts for customers using table saws, drill presses, and hand tools.
- Assemble parts using glue and other adhesives.
- Assist with packaging goods for shipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Work with other departments to ensure timely product shipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the department.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a woodworking environment.
- Ability to work in a team setting and independently with minimal supervision.
- Great attendance is a critical requirement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
- Basic Math skills – ability to measure and calculate.
- Ability to perform physical requirements including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
