About the Role
Join IBIS London City Shoreditch & IBIS Budget Whitechapel as a Painter/Decorator to create memorable moments for our guests. This role is an opportunity to grow your career within the Accor network, a worldwide hospitality leader.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the surrounding area, including covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messes
- Preparing painting surfaces, including removing old paint, filling holes and cracks and washing walls
- Applying paint, varnishing and other finishes, hanging wallpapers and other decorative products
- Cleaning up painting tools and supplies, replacing fixtures and rearranging furniture after completing the project
- Conduct routine inspection of premises and equipment and handle basic repairs and maintenance requirements
- Actively seek to contribute to the comfort of guests and visitors
- Remain proactive and approach tasks and requests with a can-do-attitude
- Assist in record keeping and keep daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment
- Apply the Hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc)
Requirements
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Must be in possession of a current work visa
- Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process
