About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our Shirley Nursery. The nursery provides state-of-the-art facilities with bright indoor rooms and outdoor areas. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and education to children in a nursery setting.
- Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a Nursery Practitioner role or equivalent.
- Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Demonstrate passion in day-to-day interactions with children.
- Must provide evidence of the right to work in the UK.
- Position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Certificate and satisfactory employment references.
- Required to undertake online safeguarding training.
- All positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
