About the Role
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you'll work alongside individuals to understand their goals, navigate challenges, and identify opportunities that support positive change. Through compassionate support, evidence-based interventions, and meaningful relationships, you'll empower individuals to make informed choices and achieve outcomes that matter to them. By helping people move forward, you'll contribute to healthier communities, stronger support networks, and lives transformed through recovery.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with people accessing services.
- Help individuals identify their strengths, develop confidence, and take positive steps towards their goals.
- Tailor support to each individual's circumstances, aspirations, and priorities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations.
- Support people through assessment, recovery planning, risk management, and ongoing engagement.
- Assist individuals in improving health and wellbeing, reconnecting with family and community, accessing education, employment or training opportunities, or building stronger support networks.
- Liaise with health professionals, social care colleagues, housing providers, criminal justice partners, and community organisations to ensure access to wider support and opportunities for sustainable recovery.
Requirements

- Experience supporting people facing complex challenges.
- Understanding of recovery, behaviour change, and harm reduction principles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate people from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and risk management.
- Effective organisational skills and confidence managing competing priorities.
- Commitment to equality, inclusion, and person-centred practice.
- Belief in people's ability to achieve meaningful and sustainable change.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
- This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.

Salary/Compensations
- CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 - £32,802.41) pro rata
- Outer London Weighting (£2,250.61) pro rata
