About the Role
Seeking a motivated Part Qualified Tax Associate or Tax Assistant to join a growing Business Tax team, offering hands-on experience with a diverse client portfolio and tailored tax solutions in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Looking after a portfolio of clients ranging from big businesses, PE backed and OMBs
- Assisting in the preparation of corporate tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Encouraging opportunity spotting and building trusted relationships with clients
- Supporting with tax disclosures for statutory accounts
- Collaborating with senior team members to develop and implement tax strategies
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service
- Staying informed about changes in tax regulations and industry best practices
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of tax-related projects
Requirements
- Part qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g., ATT, ACA)
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a tax or accounting role, ideally within an accountancy practice
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in tax
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks
