About the Role

KPMG's Deal Execution practice seeks exceptional candidates for an Associate Director role specializing in technology, digital, AI, and M&A. This role offers accelerated career growth in the dynamic 'Technology in M&A' market. The technology team is expanding significantly and aims to double in size over the next three years, delivering value through innovative thinking, deep insights, and rigorous execution.

Responsibilities

Build deep client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
Support the identification, pursuit, and conversion of business development opportunities.
Lead the design and day-to-day delivery of complex engagements.
Undertake scoping and fee negotiation for standard engagements.
Proactively develop thought leadership.
Build and maintain strong internal and external networks.
Understand risk and ensure adherence to firm risk management frameworks.
Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop project team members.
Identify, design, and lead critical practice development initiatives.
Manage or support high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders.
Lead and support clients on transactions with a focus on ERP solution implementation, separation, and integration.
Develop additional products and revenue streams focused on ERP solutions in transactions.
Expand ERP knowledge, capabilities, and experience across the team.

Requirements

Experience working with SAP ERP products.
SAP integration experience in a post-merger scenario or SAP carve-out experience within a divestiture.
Track record of leading complex ERP projects with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting, corporate, or public sector environment.
Understanding of general business processes and ERP modules (e.g., Procurement, Material Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Finance and Controlling).
Experience in leading/handling data migration projects is preferred.
Demonstrable ability to build and commercialize relationships with senior executives.
Ability to engage credibly with C-level clients on industry issues and strategic considerations.
Understanding of the deal lifecycle and the role of IT within it, from due diligence to transitional service agreements.
Strong self-motivation to drive innovation and create new services focused on ERP in integration and separation scenarios.
Ability to evaluate complex challenges and deliver insightful, practical recommendations.
