About the Role

As a Working Student, you will support our People & Culture team in Berlin with diverse tasks in operational personnel work, including administrative support of employees, assistance with recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and process optimization. You will have the opportunity to take on responsibility, actively contribute your ideas, bring structure to our processes, and serve as a key point of contact for our team in the Berlin office. You will work in a dedicated, international team and help develop an organization committed to a sustainable, fairer, and healthier future.

Responsibilities

  • Support the P&C team with daily tasks and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain employee data and digital personnel files.
  • Keep HR dashboards (e.g., attendance, budgets) updated.
  • Assist with contract and document management.
  • Support administrative tasks related to employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with recruiting processes.
  • Contribute to the creation of employment certificates and confirmations.
  • Support with filing, mail processing, and digitalization of documents.
  • Help organize P&C workshops and team events.
  • Respond to internal inquiries and assist employees with P&C-related questions.
  • Utilize tools like ChatGPT or Gemini for efficient text drafting (e.g., job postings, emails, guides).
  • Research and test new AI approaches and software solutions.
  • Help make existing P&C processes simpler and more efficient.
  • Contribute your perspective and ideas to develop new ways of working.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student, preferably in (Business) Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Resources Management, or similar fields.
  • Previous practical experience in an office or administrative environment is advantageous.
  • Reside in or around Berlin and be able to work at least 2 days a week at the Berlin office (Tiergarten).
  • Be enrolled at university for at least 2 more semesters.
  • Previous practical experience or strong interest in using AI tools in work or study.
  • Curiosity about smart, digital HR processes.
  • Reliable, structured, data-savvy, and independent work style.
  • Friendly, helpful attitude, love for order, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Maintain the highest discretion with sensitive personnel data.
  • Identify with ProVeg's goals and values.
