About the Role
As a Software Engineer in the Thales Embedded Product Development Team, you will participate in the design, implementation, validation, and deployment of embedded products for major OEM customers. You will develop and validate new software components for embedded operating systems targeted for mobile and IoT devices, and contribute to the development of next-generation operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and deploy new software components for embedded operating systems targeted for mobile and IoT devices, in applications such as mobile payment, digital identity, and IoT connectivity.
- Participate in the development of next-generation operating systems for future devices.
- Work in an agile development environment, collaborating closely with team members and multiple global teams to build products exceeding customer expectations.
- Contribute to continuous product and development methodology improvement.
Requirements
- 3 years of practical experience in software development as a developer/validator.
- Proficient in Embedded C for development and VB.NET for validation.
- Experience in testing and debugging embedded devices using dedicated emulators or simulators.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering workflows.
