About the Role
Provide pre-sales solutions support for critical Power infrastructure networks and projects in the Australian and New Zealand market, applying Vertiv Power products and approved third-party offerings.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales staff with technical assistance and support information on Busway & other Power solutions.
- Review RFQ documentation, including technical specifications, electrical wiring schematics, and floorplan layouts.
- Prepare quotations comprising formal offers with compliance statements, single line drawings, and costing schedules.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) itemizing products and services.
- Source third-party product and service quotes to support offers.
- Reconcile purchase orders for won jobs and complete job entry per Vertiv process.
- Complete profitability analysis on costing offers as directed.
- Manage product delivery and design for non-established products.
- Undertake product training and provide solution presentations as directed.
- Adhere to PSA procedures and practices.
- Complete all work in a timely manner.
- Develop or enhance pre-sales processes to improve efficiency.
- Provide feedback from lessons learned to improve future solution designs.
- Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations.
- Actively promote safety in the workplace.
Requirements
- Qualifications in Electrical Power Engineering.
- Experience with the design and applications of Power infrastructure solutions, particularly Busway in mission-critical environments.
