About the Role

This role involves supporting development teams in the selection and evaluation of EEE components and PCBs, conducting reliability and de-rating analyses, and reviewing relevant standards. You will also create Part Approval Documents and Justification Documents, maintain contact with component manufacturers, and develop test instructions for components. Additionally, you will participate in technological, electrical, and mechanical investigations of components, determine component technologies and radiation testing for space applications, and participate in and evaluate radiation tests on semiconductor components.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting development teams in the selection and evaluation of EEE components and PCBs, along with associated documentation
  • Performing reliability and de-rating analyses
  • Reviewing relevant standards
  • Creating Part Approval Documents (PAPs) and Justification Documents (JDs) for Parts Control Boards
  • Maintaining contact with component manufacturers to ensure long-term component quality and availability
  • Creating test instructions for components
  • Participating in technological, electrical, and mechanical investigations of components
  • Determining component technologies and resulting radiation tests for space applications
  • Participating in and evaluating radiation tests on active semiconductor components for internal and external projects

Requirements

  • Studies in Physics or Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in a similar position in the aerospace industry
  • Knowledge and experience in the structure, behavior, and specification (e.g., ESCC, MIL, or Automotive) of electronic components
  • Experience with semiconductor components (manufacturing, testing, development) is desirable
  • High degree of independence
  • Proactive work approach with high diligence
  • Friendly and open demeanor in dealing with people
