About the Role
Deloitte's AI & Data team is transforming how businesses leverage cloud-native technologies to solve complex challenges in data, machine learning, and AI. We are seeking experienced Engineering leadership to join our rapidly growing team, supporting clients in designing and implementing their Agentic strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-scale data transformation programs.
- Shape technology strategy.
- Build high-performing engineering teams.
- Modernize client data platforms.
- Unlock value from Data & AI investments.
- Design and implement modern data platforms, including data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses.
- Manage senior technical counterparts, architects, and executive stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop engineering leaders and technical teams.
- Support business development, solutioning, and strategic pursuits.
- Define architecture standards, automation frameworks, DevOps, and CI/CD capabilities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience across Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Analytics, and Cloud technologies.
- At least 3 industry certifications across cloud, data, platform engineering, or architecture technologies.
- Proven experience leading large-scale data and platform transformation programs, from strategy through delivery.
- Strong consulting and client-facing experience.
- Ability to influence C-level and senior stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in Apache Spark (PySpark preferred), SQL, and dbt.
- Strong experience with data ingestion, integration, and streaming architectures.
- Hands-on experience across AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of databases, cloud-native data platforms, governance, security, and platform engineering best practices.
- Proven experience leading large delivery teams across complex transformation programs.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment.
