About the Role
Savills Rural team operates at the forefront of dynamic and forward-thinking land management. This placement offers a unique role with a varied workload, requiring a proactive, efficient, and organized individual. Training and support towards RICS APC Rural or Valuation Pathway will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Support the dynamic, fast-paced, and forward-thinking Rural Professional team.
- Provide core valuation and consultancy services to institutional, private, and public sector clients.
- Focus on rural property portfolios, landed estates, and prime agricultural property across central England.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of rural property and estates.
- Provide advice on property management, landlord and tenant matters, development opportunities, and estate strategy.
- Gain exposure to estate management and rural surveying work.
- Coordinate maintenance programmes, property inspections, repair projects, statutory compliance requirements, and contractor management.
- Assist in gaining experience walking boundaries and inspecting properties.
- Collate comparable evidence for valuations.
- Deal with residential, commercial, or agricultural landlord and tenant issues.
- Carry out compulsory purchase advice.
- Negotiate terms for access agreements and easements.
