About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prospect, promote, and sell identity and biometrics solutions to customers in Asia.
- Serve as the primary sales interface for assigned accounts, managing business and administrative aspects.
- Collaborate with internal Business Units to ensure customer needs are met and resources are allocated.
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction and implement recovery plans as needed.
- Maintain consistency in local commercial approaches to achieve short and long-term business results.
- Establish high-level strategic relationships with accounts and identify key contacts and decision-makers.
- Create and implement a follow-up process to monitor customer actions.
- Collaborate with Bid Managers on tender response strategies and deliverables, managing tender responses when a Bid Manager is not appointed.
- Be accountable for all revenue streams within named accounts.
- Provide product evolution inputs and roadmap definition to accounts.
- Follow project implementations and establish crisis management plans if necessary.
- Communicate relevant market information internally.
- Develop, propose, and implement strategic planning for each country/account in line with sales strategy.
- Identify new opportunities and position Thales as a key partner within accounts.
- Improve Thales' offering through value creation and information sharing processes.
- Create technical and sales synergies with third parties to expand sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven track record in winning large-scale Government projects.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in solutions selling and large account management, ideally in Biometrics-related projects, ID & Passport, Border Management, Law Enforcement, or Digital Transformation.
- Strong solution sales skills.
- Strong understanding of the Public Sector.
- Good business analysis and mid-term vision.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of High-Tech market: Biometrics, IT system, smart card and document security.
- Marketing analysis skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
