About the Role
As an expert in Cryptography (CryptoCOE), you will enhance clients' cryptographic maturity to secure business processes and data, preparing them for future challenges. This involves cryptographic processes, standards, and technologies, with a focus on automation, Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and certificate management.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on IT security topics with a focus on CryptoCoE, including PKI, HSM, key, and certificate management.
- Support the conception, consulting, creation, and implementation of crypto policies, key lifecycle management, and PKI standards.
- Assist in analyzing and migrating existing cryptographic systems towards cryptographic agility and PQC algorithms.
- Integrate HSMs, KMS, and complete certificate lifecycle solutions within the team.
- Support cryptography audits.
- Collaborate closely with sales colleagues in presales, IT architecture, compliance, and external partners.
Requirements
- Ideally, a completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or Mathematics.
- Initial experience with PKI architectures, key and certificate management, HSM, encryption, and signing.
- Familiarity with common cryptography standards or guiding bodies such as BSI and NIST.
- Initial knowledge in symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, TLS, X.509, PKCS#11, OpenSSL, OpenSSH.
- Initial experience with a focus on solutions from manufacturers like Microsoft, Thales, Utimaco, Keyfactor (Primekey), Fortanix, and Cyberark (Venafi).
- Ideally, internationally recognized certifications such as (ISC)² CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent, as well as manufacturer certifications.
- Communication and presentation skills, trustworthiness, and discretion.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
