About the Role
Sun River Health is seeking a Full Time Patient Representative/Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This role is responsible for providing patient-centered care, facilitating patient access to services, and managing the registration and appointment process in a pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily reception activities and ensure all processes for patient services are initiated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients regarding all aspects of service.
- Handle telephone and mail contact with patients.
- Schedule appointments, collect fees, and explain services and charges.
- Distribute materials to patients, including satisfaction cards and patient rights information.
- Verify insurance information and set fees based on the sliding scale.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience required.
Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) preferred.
