About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join WTW’s dedicated placing team, administering and arranging construction related insurances.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day client service, addressing requests and queries from clients, insurers, and other third parties.
- Offer technical, industry, and subject matter expertise as required.
- Understand client needs and deliver through ongoing service.
- Understand client insurance programs and utilize them according to client philosophy.
- Maintain information on the database.
- Apply technical and client knowledge to prepare documentation for renewing/placing business in London and overseas markets.
- Prepare market presentations and underwriting submissions.
- Interpret and review quotations to ensure they meet client demands.
- Negotiate terms and cover alterations with insurers and present them to the client.
- Complete reports using technical and client knowledge.
- Complete summaries of insurance for all interested parties.
- Attend key client and market meetings.
- Collaborate with clients, insurers, and overseas networks to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance (construction insurance knowledge is ideal but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers.
- Excellent client focus with proven experience in delivering high levels of direct client service.
- Ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations for optimal client solutions.
- Experience working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery.
- Intermediate IT systems knowledge (Microsoft Office minimum).
- Intermediate knowledge of data analysis.
- Good presentation skills.
- Fluency in French or another European language is preferable but not essential.
- Preferably educated to a degree level or possess relevant industry experience.
- Preferably hold professional qualifications of ACII or similar.
