About the Role
We are seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology & Blood Transfusion to join a busy and well-established laboratory service in Cumbria. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only.
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Haematology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with Haematology Sysmex – XN and CN analysers & Blood Transfusion Ortho Vision – analysers, LIMS - Telepath System
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS/Private UK based laboratory experience required
