About the Role
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare practitioners to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within the Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS). Design and implement systems and processes to enable service scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the SWMS practitioner team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure operational excellence by simplifying workflows, reducing friction, and using data for efficiency.
- Build and maintain data dashboards and reporting for key performance metrics.
- Partner cross-functionally to mobilize new specialist weight management services and develop operational processes.
- Drive performance and quality by monitoring service metrics and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members for professional development.
Requirements
- Experience managing or leading a multidisciplinary healthcare team or specialist weight management service.
- Proven people management experience with a track record of developing, supporting, and motivating high-performing healthcare teams.
- Strong operational and analytical skills to identify and solve inefficiencies using data.
- Experience building and using data dashboards and reporting.
- Service mobilization and implementation experience.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and resilient with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and feedback skills.
- Passion for health, wellbeing, and behaviour change.
- Confident working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Strong tech literacy and comfortable learning new digital tools and systems.
- Ability to work independently from a laptop 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 40 hours per week.
