About the Role

The Savills Sandwich Placement Programme offers students a comprehensive understanding of the industry, market, and Savills teams and clients, contributing towards APC experience for those with a cognate degree. Students can choose from three specialisms: Commercial, Residential, or Development.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and work through deals.
  • Call other agents.
  • Investigate comparable evidence.
  • Meet with clients.
  • Visit properties.
  • Inspect and value commercial property.
  • Analyze market evidence.
  • Advise clients.
  • Support business rates appeals.
  • Evaluate financial viability for real estate projects.
  • Navigate planning requirements.
  • Optimize land value.
  • Provide strategic advice for project delivery.
  • Provide affordable housing consultancy, valuation, and agency related services.
  • Provide strategic advice on lease consultancy matters.
  • Analyze lease documentation.
  • Research market evidence.
  • Assist in negotiation preparation.
  • Provide supporting client advice.
  • Undertake valuations of social housing properties.
  • Provide advice to banks and investors.
  • Work with Housing Associations and Local Authorities on a consultancy basis.
  • Model valuations.
  • Attend client meetings and events.
  • Carry out inspections.
  • Write reports.
