About the Role

As a graduate on the rotation, no day is the same, from visiting a business rates tribunal to inspecting an industrial park at the opposite end of the country, a graduate at Savills will have exposure to a broad variety of aspects within the property industry during their two year graduate scheme.

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to a broad variety of aspects within the property industry during a two-year graduate scheme.
  • Rotate between different specialist departments across London offices to gain a thorough understanding of the industry, market, and Savills teams and clients.
  • Gain experience in commercial, development, or residential pathways.
  • Obtain experience in a range of specialisms to gain a thorough understanding of the industry, market, and Savills teams and clients.
  • Gain experience within the valuation and development land agency sides of the team.
  • Obtain the required experience for the APC from the Development role along with time spent working within relevant multi sector project teams.
  • Demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge and understanding of the profession, qualification, and role.
  • Enrol and begin active progress towards qualification, understanding competencies/KSBs and maintaining an up-to-date record of experience.
  • Complete all required induction training.
  • Ask good relevant questions, demonstrating curiosity and enthusiasm about the business.
  • Have a foundational understanding of the UK business strategy, team strategy, and personal contribution.
  • Adhere to additional requirements set by the division.
  • Have a clear understanding of personal brand – office attire, etiquette, and team expectations.
  • Accurately complete tasks on time, with guidance.
  • Approach tasks with team and client expectations in mind.
  • Show attention to detail in all outputs, including data accuracy, formatting, and compliance with Savills’ brand and policies.
  • Maintain good time keeping, both personally and professionally.
  • Arrive at work in good time, be a reliable team member, and emulate the working culture of the team.
  • Meet agreed deadlines consistently, prioritizing tasks effectively and communicating any capacity issues or questions early and proactively.
  • Begin building effective working relationships with colleagues across the team and wider business.
  • Have regular 1:1s with line manager and encourage team members to provide feedback.
  • Adapt style with different stakeholders, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Salary/Compensations

  • London: £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus
  • Regions: £27,000 and £1,000 sign on bonus
  • Some regions offer a higher salary of £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus, dependent on location and Cost of Living.
