About the Role

This role is part of the Building & Project Consultancy team, which comprises over 250 consultants operating across the UK and Europe. The team advises on buildings and projects, offering expertise in both professional services and project management. The Project Management arm works across various property sectors, while the Building Surveying teams provide tailored solutions throughout the project lifecycle for institutional clients.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge and understanding of the profession, qualification, and role.
  • Enrol and actively progress towards qualification, understanding competencies and maintaining an up-to-date record of experience.
  • Complete all required induction and mandatory training.
  • Ask relevant questions, demonstrating curiosity and enthusiasm about the business.
  • Have a foundational understanding of the UK business strategy, team strategy, and personal contribution.
  • Adhere to additional divisional requirements and understand personal brand, office etiquette, and team expectations.
  • Accurately complete tasks on time with guidance.
  • Approach tasks with team and client expectations in mind.
  • Show attention to detail in all outputs, including data accuracy, formatting, and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain good timekeeping, both personally and professionally.
  • Arrive at work in good time and be a reliable team member.
  • Meet agreed deadlines consistently, prioritizing tasks effectively and communicating capacity issues proactively.
  • Begin building effective working relationships with colleagues across the team and wider business.
  • Have regular 1:1s with line manager and encourage feedback on work.
  • Adapt communication style with different stakeholders, maintaining professionalism.

Salary/Compensations

  • London: £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus
  • Regions: £27,000 and £1,000 sign on bonus
  • Some regions will offer a higher salary of £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus, dependent on the location and the Cost of Living
