About the Role

Join the largest planning department in any mainstream real estate practice, renowned for success and professionalism. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse property types and specialize in areas like urban mixed-use, housing, retail, major sports venues, energy, master planning, urban design, environmental impact assessment, community engagement, heritage, and Section 106 agreements/Community Infrastructure Levy. You will negotiate planning permissions for a wide range of projects, from large urban regeneration schemes to domestic extensions, by assembling evidence and building cases to achieve approvals from various authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare planning appraisals
  • Undertake research and analysis
  • Prepare planning applications
  • Contribute to the preparation/editing of Design and Access Statements, Sustainability Statements, and other planning documents
  • Gain experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) on high-profile and strategic projects
  • Apply EIA Regulations to support major planning applications with environmental evidence
  • Engage in EIA Screening and Environmental Statement preparation
  • Work on projects from site promotion for new homes to educational, high-tech, science industry, and renewable energy schemes
  • Gain hands-on experience on high-profile projects for a variety of clients
