About the Role
The Developer Tools team aims to boost productivity and accelerate software delivery for Woven by Toyota and the larger Toyota Group by integrating cutting-edge technologies. This role will drive product management for a widely used software development and collaboration platform, reporting to the Group Product Manager.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer and user needs and productivity blockers, working cross-functionally to devise solutions for the software development & collaboration platform.
- Develop and contribute to the product vision, strategy, and metrics.
- Work with customers, key users, and business stakeholders to incorporate and manage requirements and prioritization.
- Create and continuously refine product roadmap, actionable requirements, and user stories.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers and users by tracking usage analytics, maintaining feedback loops, and collecting in-depth insights.
- Use customer understanding to define and measure outcomes from both business and customer perspectives.
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams, helping to better understand use cases, personas, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Experience with modern software development, cloud native development, and engineering practices.
- Technical experience with software engineering, and/or product management experience of a platform product.
- Experience working on Business-to-Business or Business-to-Employee type of product within a corporate environment.
- Track record in working across different business cultures, particularly interacting with Japanese customers.
- Business level written and spoken English.
