About the Role

Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s transformation into a mobility company by challenging the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation. Our work centers on AD/ADAS, Arene, Woven City, and Cloud & AI, aiming for a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

Responsibilities

Develop novel algorithms for computer vision applications, connecting research elements into products and business through rapid prototyping.
Present research findings both internally and externally.
Design, prototype, and develop production-ready systems that advance spatial intelligence and human-computer interaction.
Bring research ideas and rapid prototypes into production as robust, scalable, and maintainable systems, working closely with researchers and backend/frontend engineers.
Explore and build novel interfaces that integrate across web, mobile devices, robots, smart glasses, and urban infrastructure.
Collaborate with world-class researchers to try experimental ideas and publish papers.

Requirements

Master's in computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, other related areas or equivalent practical experience.
Programming experience in Python and proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or Tensorflow.
Research experience in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, with a track record of publications at top-tier conferences or journals.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
