About the Role
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in carpentry or general handyman work who enjoy hands-on problem-solving. Your practical technical skills and experience using tools will be key to successfully installing bird management solutions across various client sites.
Responsibilities
- Primarily installing bird netting to prevent perching and roosting in these areas
- Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any signs of pests
- Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests
- Identifying sales leads in the region where possible
- Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
- Use of power tools to install hardware and various equipment
- An ability to consistently work within both our clients' and Rentokil's safety parameters
- Communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to work autonomously and drive long distances
- Confident using Android mobile phone service app/tablet
- Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria.
