About the Role
Fluidstack is seeking a Product Manager to own the automation roadmap for compute production. This role involves deciding which aspects of GPU fleet health, repair, qualification, and maintenance become software, and defending these decisions with data. The Product Manager will land existing systems, embed with production teams, define completion criteria for workflows, and manage a team of Decision Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own the automation roadmap for compute production.
- Decide which parts of keeping GPU fleets healthy become software.
- Land systems for maintenance, asset registration, and datacenter inventory.
- Embed with production engineers and facility operators.
- Map shift hours and turn the map into the roadmap.
- Define done for every workflow and publish metrics.
- Run the queue for Decision Engineers.
- Prototype ideas with AI tools and put working software into use.
- Answer for the outcome, employee-hours per gigawatt.
Requirements
- Shipped technical products for operations or infrastructure users.
- Owned a product measured on operational numbers (uptime, MTTR, machines per technician, etc.).
- Been the first product person in a function and set the roadmap, metrics, and cadence.
- Prototype with AI tools daily and ship what works.
- Credible with production engineers, SREs, and leadership.
- Owned prioritization for a team of engineers.
- Demonstrated product and design taste in shipped products.
- Experience with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or LLM APIs is a plus.
- Experience in Datacenter or GPU fleet operations is a plus.
- Experience with CMMS, DCIM, or asset management rollouts is a plus.
- Experience with SRE and observability tooling is a plus.
- Experience with hardware qualification or burn-in is a plus.
- Experience with compliance or audit readiness is a plus.
- Experience on an on-call rotation is a plus.
