About the Role
This role involves delivering end-to-end security solutions through consulting projects, managing the entire lifecycle from initial client engagement to final billing.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and analyzing technical issues, determining the scope of impact, developing preventative measures, recommending technical and operational improvements, and training clients.
- Overseeing project schedules and costs, estimating budgets, managing invoices, and acting as the primary liaison between internal and client management.
- Participating in sales presentations, drafting proposals, and identifying new product or service opportunities within the client's organization.
- Problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
- Interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.
- Project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing.
- Participating in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.
- Identifying additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
Requirements
- 7 years of professional experience.
- Experience in security-related operations such as CSIRT support (policy revision, security plan formulation, security education, security help desk, incident response, forensics, malware analysis, etc.).
- Experience in SOC support (log analysis using SIEM, packet analysis, vulnerability response, etc.).
- IT/OT security assessment experience.
- Research and investigation experience related to cybersecurity and information security.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and similar tasks.
- 3 years of experience in system design/construction and IT domains such as cloud (required).
- Experience in multiple security consulting engagements or pre-sales for multiple security-related operations is desirable.
Skills
- High learning motivation for cybersecurity and information security (required).
- Communication and coordination skills with stakeholders, including clients (must have the willingness to acquire even if currently low).
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) is essential.
- Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) is desirable.
- Basic IT Engineer Examination certification (passing is desirable, but equivalent knowledge level is acceptable).
Experience Level
- 7 years of professional experience
- 3 years of experience in system design/construction and IT domains such as cloud
Education Level
- Basic IT Engineer Examination certification (passing is desirable, but equivalent knowledge level is acceptable)
