About the Role
This position is for someone with managerial and hands-on skills to hire, supervise, and direct handypersons and contractors at a high-end social club and residential community.
Responsibilities
- Oversee repairs and maintenance of flooring, carpeting, painting, plastering, drywall, wall coverings, appliances, windows, doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and porter maintenance.
- Manage record keeping.
- Perform front-of-house client/contractor liaison meetings and discussions.
Requirements
- FDNY Certificates of Fitness, if requested, must be obtained within a timely manner.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Skills
- Basic to advanced knowledge of repairs and maintenance.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Interpersonal skills.
