About the Role
The CDL Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to customers, performing equipment inspections, and operating commercial vehicles safely. This role involves picking up returned products, handling payments and paperwork, and operating material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Unload and deliver products to customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts
- Pick up returned products, including payments and pallets
- Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
- Securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 0 to 1 years plus of specific driving experience
- Class B commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
- Must be available to work any shift, weekends, and Holidays
- Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs
