About the Role

Manages territory alignments and serves as Lead Compensation Analyst for the sales organization. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data for customer, product, and sales organization information, as well as supporting the development, implementation, and payment of sales compensation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manages territory alignments for the sales organization, including aligning customer accounts to sales reps in SAP, maintaining sales rep relationships, creating and closing rep codes, and performing account alignment.
  • Manages organization realignments and restructures, ensuring master data accurately reflects organizational changes.
  • Analyzes internal stakeholder reporting requirements and maintains data accuracy for strong internal collaboration and data integration.
  • Collaborates with Finance team members to evaluate quota change requests and revenue reallocation via the credit/rebill process.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the customer master, sales organization hierarchy, and product hierarchy for sales reporting.
  • Analyzes new customers and new products to determine appropriate placement and attribute categorization.
  • Ensures master data accuracy through proactive audits and resolves issues with IT and other key players.
  • Identifies root causes to prevent re-occurrence of master data issues and implements process improvements.
  • Evaluates Rep Inventory Order (RIO) requests for adherence to policy, approves or rejects requests, and provides feedback.
  • Administers and calculates commission/bonus payments for USD Sales Compensation and Bonus Plans.
  • Analyzes, interprets, and implements USD Sales Compensation Plans and related Employee Agreements.
  • Performs periodic audits of commission/bonus payments, makes recommendations for improvements, and resolves discrepancies.
  • Audits monthly commissions calculations to identify outliers.
  • Ensures Financial, Data, and Sales Compensation processes comply with internal and external audit practices.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and acts on opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provides ad-hoc master data reports to Management and internal customers.
  • Provides leadership and mentoring to teammates and supports management initiatives.
  • Remains current on developments in field of expertise.
  • Stays current with latest software and technology advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years as a data/sales analyst or equivalent.
  • Previous related experience in a medical device company or relevant experience in a sales organization.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to converse effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Demonstrated personal computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Business Objects.
  • SAP or any ERP system experience.
  • Advanced MS Office skills preferred.
