About the Role
This role is in charge of the selling of merchandise at the arena for Sabres games and non-hockey events.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set-up and display of merchandise location, selling product, stand cleanliness, performing inventories and settling credit card sales at the conclusion of each event.
- Ensure that customers are serviced at the highest level of customer service.
- Responsible for following arena and department policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as they become evident.
- Product knowledge and stock replenishment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service/retail sales experience is preferred.
- Point of Sale Terminal (POS) system experience preferred.
- Be able to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must have excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must be able to remain calm and professional in all situations.
- Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills.
- While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach, kneel, and crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.
- Candidate must be able to lift and move boxes and merchandise of 50lbs.

About the Company
- Hockey Western New York, LLC operates in both an office setting and a live events setting. Live event coverage does consist of being around loud stadium noises and crowds.
