About the Role

Lead the client support and operational teams in Sydney, managing a team of Senior Associate Advisers, Associate Advisors, and Client Associates to provide high-quality support and technical assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the team to provide expert support and technical assistance across the preparation of advice, implementation of advice and ongoing assistance with managing clients.
  • Deliver consistent, compliant and standardised operational processes across the State, adopting and enforcing the national frameworks and service standards.
  • Partner with the National Head of Operational Transformation and Head of Shadforth to deliver the State's annual budgets, pledges and targets.
  • Track and report State adoption metrics, operational performance and benefits realisation.
  • Recruit, train and mentor talent, managing the training and development program to build a high-performing team.
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes.
  • Lead and proactively get involved in projects.
  • Manage the training and development program of team.

Requirements

  • Solid leadership experience in financial planning or advice operations, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge in financial planning.
  • Proven experience driving change adoption and embedding new systems, processes and operating models into business-as-usual.
  • Ability to drive a high performing culture.
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management governing financial planning.
  • Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Applicants will be required to undertake police and basic credit checks as a condition of employment.
