About the Role
The Bilingual Case Management Aide will support case managers and employment counselors with intake, paperwork, data entry, service coordination, and direct client interactions to ensure efficient and effective case management processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary client assessments and interviews
- Assist clients with completing necessary forms and documentation
- Provide clients with information about available services and resources
- Schedule and coordinate client appointments
- Follow up with clients to ensure they are receiving the needed services
- Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs
- Collaborate with team members for comprehensive client support
- Accompany clients to appointments or service providers if necessary
- Maintain accurate digital and physical case files, write case notes, and organize data in agency databases
- Screen participants for public benefits and assist with benefit applications
- Assist with job readiness activities, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job searching
- Assist with front desk coverage as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities required (preferred languages English/French/Creole/Spanish)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Sensitivity and understanding when dealing with diverse populations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- Experience with community outreach and engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- High organizational aptitude
- Commitment to providing high-quality client service
- Build and maintain professional interactions with participants, co-workers, and supervisors
- Have strong sensitivity to cultural differences present among staff and clients
