About the Role

This role involves managing procurement processes for building technology, maintenance, and upkeep, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and building a strong partner network.

Responsibilities

Conduct structured tenders, obtain quotes, and negotiate contracts and conditions with service providers.
Independently manage procurement processes from tactical to operational levels, ensuring smooth operations.
Analyze needs in building technology, maintenance, and upkeep, and derive concrete measures.
Strategically select and evaluate suppliers based on quality and service metrics, monitoring the market for new trends and partners.
Ensure continuous high quality for services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.
Build a robust partner network and maintain long-term business relationships.
Identify risks early, pay attention to ESG criteria, and implement optimization and cost reduction measures that create real added value.

Requirements

Completed degree in a commercial or technical field, or a comparable apprenticeship.
5+ years of experience in purchasing, ideally in facility management or a comparable industry.
Good understanding of building technology, maintenance, and facility processes.
Basic knowledge of contract law and relevant legal regulations.
Experience in conducting tenders.
Strategic thinking, structured and independent work style.
Enjoy customer contact and building long-term relationships.
Very good German language skills (C2 level) and good English skills, both written and spoken.
Confident demeanor, strong communication, negotiation, and argumentation skills, with high customer and service orientation.
Quick comprehension, pragmatic problem-solving under pressure, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
Driver's license class B.
