About the Role
Support the day-to-day operations of CA ANZ's Sydney Conference Centre, delivering professional events and functions to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for guests. This role is key to maintaining CA ANZ's reputation for exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Conference Centre functions, events and room set-ups to meet stakeholder requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as a key contact for event attendees and clients
- Manage catering, stock levels, room presentation and event logistics
- Support the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment
- Maintain safe and compliant practices relating to food handling, workplace safety and responsible service of alcohol
- Identify opportunities to improve services, processes and customer experiences
Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality, functions or events coordination role
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence using and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and food safety knowledge preferred
