About the Role
The Director, Security Solutions Architecture, APJC leads Splunk's Security Solutions Architecture organization across APJC, driving the technical strategy and execution for the Splunk Security business in the region. This role translates Splunk and Cisco's security strategy into regional priorities and measurable business outcomes, partnering with Account Solutions Engineers to provide deep security domain expertise and architectural leadership for strategic customer engagements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the APJC Security Solutions Architecture organization, fostering an environment for experienced technical leaders to operate with autonomy, influence, and impact.
- Own the regional technical strategy for Splunk Security, aligning global priorities with APJC market opportunities and customer needs.
- Drive technical execution for the Security business, focusing specialist resources on high-impact opportunities.
- Partner with Account Solutions Engineering to provide deep domain expertise and architectural guidance to customers.
- Shape strategic customer engagements with CISOs and technology executives on security transformation and emerging areas.
- Develop compelling security architectures leveraging the combined Splunk and Cisco portfolio.
- Drive specialist excellence and scale through repeatable architectures, enablement, and field practices.
- Represent APJC with global Security, Product, and Engineering teams, influencing priorities and roadmap discussions.
- Build and elevate Security technical leadership across APJC, developing talent and fostering a culture of credibility and accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with 15+ years of relevant experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, technical sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.
- Significant people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire senior technical professionals across multiple countries.
- Demonstrated experience leading a regional technical sales, security architecture, or specialist organization.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures, security operations, and the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technical sales execution and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Experience engaging senior customer executives, including CISOs and CIOs, on complex transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate across Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Partner organizations in a complex global company.
