About the Role
Clinical Territory Associate (CTA) will learn all aspects of the business, including technical, clinical, and sales, under the guidance of a Clinical Sales Manager (CSM). You will be trained to become an expert in the technical and sales aspects of the da Vinci Surgical System across all major surgical areas, and will be responsible for developing and expanding robotic programs in your assigned territory. This position offers a career path towards becoming a Clinical Sales Representative (CSR).
Responsibilities
- Explain the Technology Training Pathway and Surgeon journey.
- Conduct on-site and dry training sessions for da Vinci Surgical System setup, theory, and overview.
- Support first case for surgeons in collaboration with CSR.
- Support TR100 training for all specialties as needed.
- Lead all technical in-services for customers, including operating room staff and surgeons.
- Contribute to team quarterly goals through product demonstrations, in-services, operating room sales activities, and customer support training.
- Support and coordinate sales and marketing development activities to drive system awareness and procedure adoption in the territory.
- Manage administrative tasks including sales/case reporting, expense reports, and ISU online modules.
- Provide product demonstrations and in-service training.
- Engage in sales activities to support team goals.
- Coordinate customer support training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, or 1+ year of experience as a healthcare professional or in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of setting and achieving goals.
- Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel, work evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/PPT).
- Native Japanese or N1 level proficiency.
- English proficiency is a plus.
